A Very Fast Preview: The 2017 NHL Playoffs

I’m overly hyper right now, so let’s see if this works.

We’re a few days out from the full NHL Season Preview, but I’ve studied and have notes on where everybody is going to finish, so as a quick taste, let’s look at the NHL post-season when we’re barely into the pre-season. Cause that makes sense.

The eight teams from the West, in no particular order (yet): Nashville Predators, Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas Stars, LA Kings, San Jose Sharks, Calgary Flames, St Louis Blues, and Minnesota Wild.

The eight teams from the East: Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers, Boston Bruins, Washington Capitals, Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, and Philadelphia Flyers.

I think the final four are Chicago, Nashville, San Jose, LA and Washington, Pittsburgh,  Tampa, and Florida.

Out of the East comes Washington, who slays the second-round beast and then seems unstoppable. The West is Chicago’s cause it’s an odd year, and because only the Predators can stop them. To do that, Pekka Rinne would have to be better than he currently is. Plus I think it’s finally Crawford’s Conn year.

So the Blackhawks win the Cup. Cause we’re better than Nashville. This whole article was just to say that. Suck it the West. OK bye.
