Corey Crawford is reportedly day to day with an upper body injury.

This comes on the back of two games where he allowed five goals and a game where he rode the pine and Darling started. This may help explain what happened to Crawford, as he was on track for a Vezina finalist position this season. He’s been one of the top goalies this year, and he has bailed the Blackhawks out often this season.

Hopefully Crawford will be fine, but in the meantime AHL leading goaltender Michael Leighton has been recalled and Darling will probably be the starting netminder.
